Is it bigger or smaller than a meter?

Year 1 have been using metre sticks to find things bigger or smaller than a metre.

They have measured a range of items in the classroom and used the key vocab so to compare e.g The bookcase is smaller than the door. The door is taller than a metre.

They have also learnt that 1m =110 cm too!
